Redemption,= the ransom paid in full … It has the idea of buying back someone, and involves cost … like an image from the slave market … And it Jesus the Christ who paid the price, John 11: 27, She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. Christ = the Anointed, the Messiah. Romans 3:24, Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
