In The Beginning God Created The Heaven And The Earth … Study 3

The Book of Genesis is a most important book in the world. After His resurrection Jesus on the road Emmaus, quoted from the O.T. beginning at Moses, Luk 24:27  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. That statement requires our attention:

In the beginning, we see that God is in charge.

In the beginning we see that Jesus is in the Scriptures … Sometimes we do not see this.

In the beginning we see that Moses spoke of Christ

In the N.T. we see the fulfillment of the plan and purpose of God, Gal_4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,Gal_4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. The N.T. has many quotation and clear allusions of events in Genesis … more than, any other book.
