Their eyes were opened:  All who are born from the first Adam are born with the eyes opened to know good and evil … Mankind has the freedom to choose. And if you live long enough after you are born, you will sin, just like Adam and Eve. I believed, that which is past from Adam to the human race is we are born to know good and evil, and free to make choices. In a way you could say we are born with our eyes open. Genesis 3:12, And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. I think in this you see Adam’s love for Eve. I do not think he was shifting the blame to Eve.   The woman whom thou gavest to be with me =The first marriage ceremony, Genesis, 2:21-25.
