We are reminded again in our study of the importance of the Word of God. We have said before regarding the Book of Enoch, and The Book of Jubilee and other books not in the canon of scripture are not the Word of God. The way of Cain is mankind own way to God, replacing the way God has ordained … And He preordained the Way, before the world began, Titus 1:2, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Tit 1:3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
Genesis 5 is not just a genealogy with names and ages of descendants of Adam to Noah. In the Hebrew language names have meaning. When put together these names tell a story; a story of man’s sin and failure. But still greater it tells a story of God Purpose, Power and Provision:
